Cape Cod Songwriters is dedicated to promoting local musicians and songwriters.


While hosting local "Open Mic" nights we have seen many very talented Singer Songwriters cross the "Mic".


Cape Cod Songwriters is providing a venue to recognize the talents of these local artists and those who support them.

Put your songs to the test. enter your songs to see if you have what it takes to be Cape Cod's number one song writer.


As the number one song writer on Cape Cod you will recognized for your talents, professionally recorded and shopped to the music industry.

How it works:


April 11th and April 18th are the preliminary rounds. You will perform your music for the judges, other musicians and listeners. You will be judged by several criteria (see Judgment criteria) The top five songs from each week will be posted on the Cape Cod Songwriters website.


Those top ten songs from each week (10 songs total) will move on to the final round. The final 10 songs will compete for the grand prize results!

I want to start by thanking all of you that participated yesterday for the second round of Cape Cod Songwriters. It was a great afternoon of music. So much local talent.


We had a wide range of contestants. We had Artists from all over the Cape as well as some intrepid travelers from the other side of the bridge!


Our judges watched and listened to over 30 songs. With so much talent the competition was very hot however we could only choose five songs that will go on to the finals on April 25th.
